If you would like to get into the exciting and fun sport of surfing, then come and have a lesson. If you would like to join a lesson then check out the lesson updates page. If you would like to organise a group or one to one lesson just get in touch through the contacts page. All you need to bring with you is your swimming gear and towel. All equipment will be provided. Lessons last for 2 hours. During a lesson you will learn surfing basics e.g. how to catch a wave and stay safe, this will take about 15 minutes on the beach, with the remaining time spent in the water surfing!

Here at new wave we use warm 5/4mm winter wetsuits to ensure you stay warm while in the water. We also supply wet suit boots, gloves and hoods when needed. Our boards are BSA approved and are specially designed with beginners in mind, which makes it really easy to catch your first wave and stand up too! They feature soft tops and edges and soft fins for your safety. Lessons will be held at one of the many fine beaches in Moray such as Lossie East, Sandend, Cullen and even Roseisle if the waves are right! We provide lessons for ages 10 and up. We supply surf vouchers for Birthday and Christmas presents and other special days. We also offer surf lessons for groups, including schools, businesses, community groups and party weekends.
